Hi there! Some of you have asked me for a tutorial on my little gift card holder so here it is. I hope it all makes sense. Please don't hesitate to ask if something is not quite clear.
This gift card holder is inspired by a gift card holder tutorial I found at SCS and a gift box tutorial at the Cat's Pajamas.
You need:
1 - 9.5" x 3.25" card stock (gift card holder)
1 - 7.5" x 3.75" card stock (little envelope inside the gift card holder)
1 - 3.25" x 2.5" card stock (insert to little envelope that holds the gift card)
1 - circle with 3.25 diameter (I used 2nd largest of Nesties Standard Circles Large)
3 - smaller circles
Red Sticky Tape
Score Board
Velcro Dots
Circle Punches or Nesties

Step 1:
take your 9.5" x 3.25" card stock and score it at 4.25", 4.5", 8.75" and 9".
take your 7.5" x 3.75" card stock and score it at 3.75" (as shown here).
Flip your 7.5" x 3.75" card stock over and score it at 0.5" and 3.25" as shown.
Trim your 7.5" x 3.75" card stock as shown in the picture here, leaving two
flaps. Use a small circle punch to punch out a half circle to the card stock side that does not have any flaps. Add red sticky tape to the flaps and put it all together.
This is what it should look like.
Attach the 3rd circle to the back of the insert card stock - it will be the tab with which you can pull your gift card out of the little en
The 3.25" x 2.5" card stock is the little insert to the small envelope we just made and will hold the actual gift card.
You need 3 larger circles. Fold two of them over and attach 2 red sticky tape strips as shown in the photo and only 1 red sticky tape strip to the bottom half of the 3rd circle.
Peel off the sticky tape of the 2 circles and fold them over the insert card stock as you can see below.
Peel off the sticky tape of the 2 circles and fold them over the insert card stock as you can see below.
Attach the 3rd circle to the back of the insert card stock - it will be the tab with which you can pull your gift card out of the little envelope.
You should end up with something that looks like this:
Step 7:
Put the insert into the little envelope. Attach red sticky tape to the back of the little envelope and stick it inside your gift card holder (9.5" x 3.25" card stock piece). I recommend attaching your little envelope to the panel that is next to the small 0.5" flap on your gift card holder.
take your 3.25" diameter circle and score it at 1.75" x 2". Apply red sticky tape to the bottom half of the circle and attach it to the back and 0.5" part of your gift card holder as shown.
Embellish your gift card holder as you'd like. The finished size of your gift card holder is 3.25" x 4.25".

For this gift card holder I used Digi Papers from the Oh So Lucky Collection from Sweet Shoppe. The stamps are both from The Cat's Pajamas and I used foam board stickers from Michaels as embellishments.
Thank you so much for stopping by and should you use my little tutorial please send me a link of your finished gift card holder. I'd loved to see what you come up with!!!
