Hi everyone!!
I don't have a card for you today but instead I have something I'm VERY excited about.
Meet Putt Putt, my little dragon.
He was my homework for my Visual Communications class this week. We had to design a character that displays an emotion and is made up entirely out of primitive shapes.
I'm so excited about Putt Putt because this is my very first character design ever and honestly I never thought, not in a million years that I could ever come up with a character like this from scratch. I'm used to drawing from something like a photograph or a model, not actually design or create something from nothing.
I'm still working out the lighting and the shading but all in all I think he's just adorable and I'm kinda beside myself. lol
Thank you for indulging me :)

ReplyDeleteOMG!!!! I knew you were uber talented (I am so jealous). I am so proud of you, that dragon is totally cool, I could see him as the star of a movie. Yeah you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI came over to tell you hou much I like your Sparkles or is it Sprinkles card for TCP this week. It made me say "shut up!" I love a round card, not too fond of making them.
Anyway, keep it up, I can't wait to say to my daughter or grandchildren when we leave the movie theatre that I knew you when.
