Hi guys,

The stamps I'm using are from the set What a Blast....love love love this set. It's so cute with it's little clouds and of course you can layer on some extra pinwheels with our brandspankin' new Pinwheel CutUps die as I did here for a 3D look. Oh and then I used our new Grass CutUps and the banner from our Rosette Cutups die as well.
Liquid Pearls added the finishing touch.

thanks so much for stopping by,

She's also our hostess for this week's TCP Tuesday challenge and is challenging us to make a shaped card!!

If you were there then you are very familiar with this cute set I'm using here: it's called Idols aaand is available today at the Cat's Pajamas' Store!!! Our favorite penguins come with lots of accessories so you can easily make some Beatles and Michael Jackson cards...just to name a few. ;)

all right I don't want to keep you any longer...your next stop on the hop is the one and only Jen del Muro...get ready to have your socks knocked off!!!

thanks so much for stopping by!!!

{Well, Hello} TCP Sneak Peek

Hi guys and a blessed Sunday to you all,

I don't know if I told you yet but I guess you could say I'm on my spring break right now. I had half of this week off and I'll have all of next week off....sooo exciting!!! Finally some time to clean my place, catch up on sleep, get back to the gym and work on some personal projects for my portfolio...lol...ok that doesn't necessarily sound a whole lot relaxing but it's a nice change of pace. Yesterday I had a superfun day: I went to pilates with my friend (so sore today), then we went to the farmer's market and who doesn't love the farmer's market?! I got some heavenly baguette, some sweet sweet strawberries and juicy pears. Oh and we also have this amazing stand that sells homemade lemon and herbs pita chips and a bunch of different hummus...es....mmh...anybody know what the plural of hummus is? Oh well I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Anyway...I got some artichoke hummus yesterday and it is yuuummmy!!!! lol
Oh and you know what else I did yesterday: I gave my blog another make-over. I wanted a little more graphic, simpler look so this is what I came up with. I hope you like it. :)

okay now let me talk about my card and our Sneak Peek real quick:
today we're sneak peeking the set Field of Pinwheels featuring the cute new bunny from the Cat's Pajamas. This is such a sweet set that is just perfect for spring.

{Rain, Rain} TCP Sneak Peek

Hi there and welcome back to another Sneak Peek at our upcoming release over at the Cat's Pajamas.
This set I'm showing you today is called Wet Puddle and my this was a perfect set for me this week because we had massive rains here in LA this week...so massive actually we lost power for 10 hours Sunday night. Talk about being dependent on electricity...I didn't know what to do with myself and basically just went to bed at 8pm...just to toss and turn for a few hours. lol

But that's all behind us now...power's back and what a beautiful thing it is. ;)
So let me show you what this cute set looks like AND I also used our brandnew Grass CutUps die...which you could also use as fire (hint hint) :)

don't forget to come and party with us on
Monday March 28th, from 8-10pm EST in our SCS Forum!!

{Sprung} TCP Tuesday 150

Hi guys,

well finals are finally coming to an end...I'm soo excited to have a few days off before it all starts back up again even though I plan on getting some major drawing and painting in during my "break". And then next term is supposed to be our toughest and busiest yet!!! Eeeek!!! I am a little worried I'm not gonna lie. I just hope that I'll be able to get all my work done somehow. We'll see...

but until then let me share my card I made for this week's TCP Tuesday challenge with you all. Leigh is our hostess with the mostess and she has cooked up a yummy sketch challenge for all of us.

Here they are:

I really came to enjoy this sketch even though I had no idea what to do with it the first time I saw it.
So I was channeling ...somehow... a scrappy, shabby homemade look today and this is the result:
I used stamps from the set Blow and a few of our CutUps dies such as the Banner die and the Pinking Border die. I went through my scrap paper bag today so the papers I used are from all over the place: there's some 7 Gypsies, October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket in there.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
I hope you get to play along!!!

{a little latte} TCP Tuesday 149

Hi there,

I don't know about you but I am terribly behind with mailing out birthday cards this month...so terribly actually that I decided I need to add a small "a little latte" card to go with the birthday cards one they finally do get to go their merry way...and hopefully that'll be very very soon...as soon as finals are over next week.

So I made these cute little cards here, they are the size of Artist Trading Cards so 2.5 x 3.5 and they feature PJ from the set A Beary Good Year and Happy Camper. Our TCP Tuesday challenge this week is all about going retro and re-using a challenge from the past. I chose Susan's TCP Tuesday 128 challenge, which was to use any PJ stamp.

thanks so much for stopping by!!!

{Happily Ever After} Diva Inspiration

Hi everyone,

I have been gone for a minute there...I'm so sorry but my term at school is coming to an end and we've got exactly one week to get all our final projects done so needless to say I've been working overtime and it's been one heck of a week so far: models exploding, having to redo and start over, programs crashing, computer freezing....oooh the joys of 3D. lol Oh but I'm not just taking 3D classes this term I'm also taking a few analog classes, one of them being Clay Sculpture...now you wanna talk about a class taking up a lot of time this is definitely the one. I spent nine hours in the studio today and I'll be back for more tomorrow. Whew...I'm exhausted.

Okay...now thankfully I sorta knew this was coming so I worked a little ahead so I have a little something to share with you guys because let's face it...I haven't gotten any stamping time in this past week and probably won't get any in this coming week either. Two friends of mine from church are getting married this month and I thought a clean, simple and fresh card would be just perfect for them so I used Charmaine's Viva La Verve sketch from last week I believe and came up with this little card here.I used stamps from the set Love Story, some Nesties, ribbon and a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for some added texture.

thank you so much for stopping by!!

{You're in Luck} TCP Tuesday 148

Hi everyone,
I've got a TCP Tuesday card for you all. Susan is our hostess with the mostess this week and she's challenging us to use stamps wishing someone good luck or a happy St. Patrick's Day...geesh it's already time to get my green on?! Wow this year is going by waaay too fast.
I'm in the midst of final projects right now and it has been crazy!! I spend basically all my days including the weekends mind, you in front of the computer or in the sculpting studio. I even had to pull an all-nighter last week just so I could go to our Making of Tron event at my school last weekend...which was AMAZING by the way. We had some of the biggest names in the industry come and share some of their designs with us. It was so inspiring I'm having a hard time describing the experience. lol

Anyway enough of the school talk...lol... let's get back to stamping
Wanna play along with this week's TCP Tuesday challenge?!
Just click on the icon in my sidebar for all the deets.

What did I use for my card?
I used sweet sweet PJ from our latest released set Honey Bear and the fun "you're in luck" rubber stamp...betcha didn't know Alma also has some rubber stamps huh?! Yup she does...you might want to check them out next time you're visiting the Cat's Pajamas. There are some really really cute ones! I also used a big big clover sticker behind PJ and lots of other fun things to add to the overall texture of the card.

thanks so much for stopping by,
I've gotta run to class!!
