Happy TCP Tuesday to you all!!!Did everybody have a great 4th of July?!
What did you do?
I had a blast: a dear co-worker of mine had a fabulous bash at his house which happens to be right at the beach. He had a band playing, a big ole' grill and a beer truck...yup you heard me: beer truck. It was very nice and best of all - we could see three different fireworks from his roof top.
The only sucky part was that trying to get away from the beach area took me about an hour because the police had blocked off all but one street.
Don't ask me what they were trying to accomplish that way but I'm sure they had their reason...well at least I hope they did. ;)

So today Joanne is challenging us to use this fun color combo. I swear she always picks the best colors...aaannd I'm a bit off with my colors today....ooopps. :)
I had made this card a little while back before our Sprinkle graphic was done yet so I had gone with the Razzleberry CS by SU...yeeaaah apparently not the right raspberry color...lol... see where working ahead will get ya?! But oh well...here you go :)
So some details:
My stamped image is from the Hearts and Flowers Clearly Swanky Set by the Cat's Pajamas. I sponged the background, colored the birdies in with Copics and layered some Crystal Effects over them.
The striped DP is from the Petite Pages collection by Webster's Pages. Looove these papers!! You can get them over at Stamper's Dream. The green leaf DP is from the Songbird collection by DCWV, another one of my favorite paper packs at the moment.
Then I added some ribbons and embellies to tie it all in together...oh and some stitching of course, using Kraft colored thread, which I've been using a lot lately. It's a really handy color!!
So - Wanna Play With Us?You just may be crowned next Month's Swanky Stamper and win $25 in Cat Cash (which would come really in handy with the swanky new release we're going to have July 20th)!!
