{Wonderful Life} May Diva Inspiration Blog Hop

Hi Guys!!!

Welcome to our May Diva Inspiration Blog Hop!!! Today is a little bittersweet for us Divas because we're saying goodbye to our Diva Shannan!! Shannan has been there since the very beginning so please if you haven't already...swing by her blog and wish her all the best!!!

Before I talk a little bit about my card I just wanted to give you an update on my dad:
Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes!!! God is good and thanks to him my dad's made it through seven rounds of chemo! He's in good spirits and it looks as though the cancer is in remission! My dad has to go back for blood tests every week and he also has to get regular CAT scans done to make sure the cancer doesn't come back but all in all we're hopeful and very thankful. :)

hehe which sort of brings me to my card!!
Life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful! A quote from the Verve set Words of Wisdom. Wow...wisdom is right! This quote really made me think and appreciate all of life's little imperfections. :)
So I always find myself in need of some masculine birthday cards and I thought what says masculine more than some gears and metal aaaand....a clock?! Okay I added the clock because it sort of went well with the whole steampunk idea not necessarily because I think it screams masculine.

  18. I LOVE your card--Sony!!! You are such a gift to your daddy!!! I love all of the many details in which you put together on this card:) I especially love this sentiment stamp!!!! Do you have any pointers about living in L..A. as my daughter is praying about moving there----she doesn't really want to---but it's looking like the Lord wants her to do so---so far---He blessed her with a scholarship to attend the NY film academy----Thank you for sharing and for allowing me to glean from you! be blessed

    1. Hi Tammy...thanks so much...this is the first time I'm trying this reply feature on Blogger so I hope you get this. LA takes a little bit to get used to but once you do it's definitely a great place to be at. You can go to the beach or ski in the mountains or head to Vegas or San Diego for a weekend. You've got theaters, museums, sport events, and everything else you can think of. Trade offs are of course the traffic but you really do get used to it and then of course it's a city so it's a little more expensive. Burbank/Studio City is a great area to live in (I'd try to avoid North Hollywood) and are right by NY film academy. I hope this helps. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you might have :)

  27. Your card is perfect AND wonderful. : ) All those elements make it look so "touchable". Steampunk is so in now; sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't, but I definitely like your take on it. Great card.
